The VoltX 160W Shingled PERC Fixed Solar Panel is anything but traditional. Introduce the latest advance Shingled PERC solar cells - Shingled solar cells are solar cells that are cut into typically 5 or 6 strips. These strips can be overlaid, like Shingleds on a roof, to form the electrical connections. The strips of solar cells are joined together using an electrically conductive adhesive (ECA) that allows for conductivity and flexibility.

A high-efficiency configuration for a solar cell module comprises solar cells arranged in a shingled manner to form super cells, which may be arranged to efficiently use the area of the solar module, reduce series resistance, and increase module efficiency.
